I am an instructional designer by day, and an IT enthusiast by night. My passions include - fiddling through coding languages and new softwares, around e-learning, learning new ID theories and principles,

And oh-yeah... sketching.



    • 6+ years of experience in Instructional Designing with current focus on creating effective training materials based on adult learning principles and charting out new instructional design strategies for better retention.

    • Managing production process end to end, from past 5 years.

    • Managing training and development of the production team, from past 5 years.

    • Identifying skill gaps and coordinating with various stakeholders for the T&D of staff for numerous projects.

    • Implementing SCORM reporting process through LMS (Moodle).

    1. Production

      • Creating theme, learning objectives, and treatment approach, basis content and target audience

      • Applying Bloom’s taxonomy according to the project’s writing guidelines

      • Simplifying complex technical source into easily comprehensible training content

      • Applying Gagne’s nine levels of instruction to ensure that the training is engaging, and meets the target audience’s training requirements

      • Creating sound storyboards from ID/ IS perspective

      • Producing the screens once the storyboard is approved by the SME

      • Creating audio script and incorporating audio

      • Creating and managing timelines for projects, and meeting them consistently

      • Reviewing production team's work(storyboard/ screens) , and streamlining it to meet the final objective(s)

      • Performing quality checks on training materials prior to course deployment

      • Basic level training to new members in the team, to ensure that they

      • Consistently work in R&D mode to introduce new tools (Flash/ Authoring tool/ video tools etc.) which will help in increasing the quality/ efficiency of the production

      • Take initiatives to keep the production technology current, and innovative (mobile compatibility, using JavaScript and PHP to create engaging learning)

      • Adding mobile compatibility to our current courses

      • Adding video capabilities in various ways (screen-casts/ video-infographics etc.) to provide engaging learning
